Andie MacDowell Says Embracing Her Gray Hair Was "Instinctual"
She said that embracing her silver curls was "instinctual" and that she was thrilled to work with a company that let her to showcase her uniqueness when speaking at the L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth event in Los Angeles last night.
Andie MacDowell has made her grey hair the focal point of her appearances on the red carpet since 2021, and she is talking about how she knew it was the right decision. For nearly forty years, MacDowell has been the face of L'Oréal, representing the company's skin care, hair colour, and cosmetics lines.
My instinct told me that this was what I wanted to accomplish. I am extremely grateful for L'Oréal Paris's assistance and for everyone's encouraging and kind words. MacDowell told People, "The response has been really nice."
I simply want to express my gratitude that people accept me for who I am. Silver hair definitely suits me well, I think many agree. In addition to her dazzling Retrofête pantsuit, black tie-neck bow shirt, and matching clutch, MacDowell accessorised her silver hair for the occasion.
Speaking further, MacDowell said that her concerns extended beyond her grey hair. She has received assistance from the titan of cosmetics throughout her life, even during pregnancy.
During the event last night, MacDowell was positioned next to other ambassadors Helen Mirren, Aja Naomi King, Camila Cabello, and Eva Longoria. The occasion honoured female changemakers who encourage others to follow in their footsteps.
