Anne Hathaway Wore a  Huge Shirt and No Pants

Even though Anne Hathaway had recently appeared on the red carpet in a hooded gold gown, a throwback Rodarte lace dress, and a Very Good Coat, she was casually slipping into an ensemble that might just rank up there with one of her best looks to date.

The actress appeared in a Valentino outfit that offered an amplification of the popular big top, tiny bottom fashion formula. Hathaway's stylist, Erin Walsh, posted a photo of the actress on Instagram today, but the bottoms were so tiny that it appeared as though Anne had completely foregone trousers.

In her post, Walsh made it clear that the Oscar winner was, in fact, sporting very small trousers. She also revealed that Valentino was the source of the entire ensemble, which included the outrageously large red button-up and the hardly-there trousers.

Proenza Schouler was named by Walsh for Hathaway's over-the-knee black boots, and the design director Pierpaolo Piccioli was even commended for the ensemble. Sheer tights and Bulgari jewellery completed Hathaway's ensemble.

Regardless of what others may think, she pointed out that working in the entertainment business for over 20 years has only sharpened her concentration on doing what she loves.

My aspirations and goals remain largely unchanged from when I was younger, but I'm still working towards them. Not only is it important for my health, but it's also about my family, my team, and me, in my opinion.
