Dua Lipa Broke a Major Fashion Rule With Her Corseted Vivienne Westwood Dress
People with red hair are supposedly advised to exercise caution when wearing red, though it's unclear exactly where that belief originated. However, celebrities such as Dua Lipa are demonstrating that beauty and fashion standards are meant to be defied.
With appearances at both Variety's 2023 Power of Women event and GQ Men of the Year celebration at the renowned Bar Marmont, the celebrity had two events scheduled for last night in Anaheim.
That obviously necessitated a change of clothes, but as we've stated before, rules don't apply to someone who looks this gorgeous. Her elegant and sensual Vivienne Westwood gown, which she wore to the Variety ceremony, was as red as her relatively new hair.
A delicate bow adorned the neckline of Lipa's dress, which had a floor-skimming hem and Westwood's characteristic corseted design. She accessorised her red hair straight and parted in the middle, and she wore a globe branded clutch that glistened with rhinestone decoration.
The singer of "Houdini" is a major fan of Westwood; in 2021, she wore the renowned label to the Brit Awards. When speaking about her new music, Lipa stated, "I'm just really happy and ready to start this next chapter."
Creative director Sabato De Sarno's inaugural collection included the huge black leather jacket that Lipa wore with a long black slip dress and an ostentatious gold choker necklace with chunky links.
