The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of one of their own.
Kevin Turen was an American producer who produced films such as "Malcolm & Marie" and "Waves" and television shows such as "Euphoria" and "The Idol,"
has passed away at 44 years old. Edward Turen, his father, gave Deadline confirmation of his unexpected death.
"Kevin was so incredibly special," his dad told the outlet in a Nov. 12 statement. "This world is going to be less without him."
Jay Penske, a close friend of Turen's, also paid tribute to the producer's legacy, telling Deadline that "Kevin's greatest passion was his family and friends, despite his many achievements in Hollywood."
He was incredibly proud of his kids. He and his spouse, Evelina, were determined that their kids develop strong morals and make a positive impact on society as a whole."
