Gwyneth Paltrow Just Re-Wore Her Iconic Pink 1999 Oscars Gown

Though Christmas is still a few weeks away, Gwyneth Paltrow has already gifted us something quite wonderful. The actress unveiled a really festive holiday goop ad on Friday, and it included her 1999 Academy Awards pink Ralph Lauren gown as a fashionable Easter egg.

The pastel pink gown, which won over everyone's hearts when Paltrow wore it to win the Best Actress Oscar for Shakespeare in Love, made a cameo appearance on Instagram to celebrate goop's most recent Christmas campaign.

The actress was seen drinking champagne, opening goop delights, applying bright red blush, and, lest you forget, slipping back into the lovely dress for the first time in over 20 years. It had a thin spaghetti strap, a long skirt, and a delicate sweetheart neckline.

The pink dress was complemented with a diamond choker necklace and drop earrings. Gwyneth even brought back her 1999 Oscars glam by putting her blonde hair up in a neat, side-parted bun and accessorising it with bright pink lips and feathery lashes.

Your nomination for Best Gift Giver has been received. "Everyone's a winner with our goop gift guides. Shop goop's holiday gift guides," the text beneath the video's slides said. Shop URL in the bio. Shortly after Paltrow reenacted even more of her most famous looks in a different Goop video, the lifestyle company published this post.

In a video posted on Tuesday to goop's Instagram, the Hollywood star entered a dinner party and saw a table full of Gwyneths in various costumes, one of whom was smoking a cigarette while wearing a brown fur coat to symbolise her role in The Royal Tenenbaums.
