Gwyneth Paltrow Pretty Much Wore a Wedding Dress Covered in Diamonds
Gwyneth Paltrow suited up in white for her recent outing, but she wasn't going to the chapel. On Tuesday, the actress wore what could have been a gorgeous wedding gown to the inauguration of Swarovski's new Fifth Avenue flagship shop in New York City.
Paltrow dressed to the occasion's glitzy and glamorous theme — the evening also served as a launch party for the new Swarovski x SKIMS collaboration — in a strapless, bustier-style white gown with a body-hugging fit-and-flare silhouette, which she paired with coordinating cream Ferragamo heels and cross-body silver chains.
Gwyneth chose to frost herself with three layers of jaw-dropping Swarvoski necklaces, taking a page from Andie Anderson's book. Her characteristic blonde tresses were styled straight down the middle with a middle split to complete her look.
The A-lister's glam was completed by a dewy, goop-approved complexion, feathery lashes, and a soft pink lip. Label wore glittering drop earrings, but she also revealed the one actor that could persuade her to resume acting after her years-long absence.
Gwyneth's appearance comes after a hectic (and fashionable!) week in which she attended the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York the day before. Not only did the goop founder look gorgeous throughout the ceremony — she donned a black turtleneck gown from her brand's .
"Well, it would be very difficult for me to do any acting right now because of my job, but I guess Robert Downey Jr. could probably always get me back," she said of her former Iron Man co-star before explaining, "You know, to some extent."
