Jennifer Lopez Reimagined the 2010s Bodycon Dress With a Semi-Sheer Silhouette
If someone says "bodycon," you probably think of Kim Kardashian at a club in the 2010s, wearing a bandage dress by Hervé Leger. A decade and a half later, the controversial silhouette is ready for a resurgence, at least if Jennifer Lopez has anything to say about it. The body-skimming look finally went out of vogue.
J. Lo's clinging dress, which featured a semi-sheer silhouette reminiscent of the naked gowns that have dominated the current decade, was not only refined but also futuristic in its nude design by Magda Butrym.
Huge diamond stud earrings and a matching pinky ring completed Lopez's accessory look, which also included clear heels. The multihyphenate posted a photo of herself wearing a new style of bodycon dress to Instagram on Saturday, sharing her most recent OOTD.
As she and her husband, Ben Affleck, co-hosted a charity poker event in Vegas, J. Lo donned a bold David Koma cutout gown that showcased an asymmetric slice across her belly and a seductive thigh-high split.
Her glam consisted of a brush of nude lip gloss and a large swirl of rose-colored blush on her brown hair, which was styled in bombshell waves with curtain fringe. Despite not having a caption for her slideshow, J. Lo's fans had a lot to say about it.
Lopez had yet another amazing red carpet moment the day before, this time wearing a gown with a high slit. The bodice and hem of the black dress were adorned with crystals, and there was a built-in choker as well.
