LeBron James was directly involved in all but two of the Lakers' fourth-quarter points, as he had 7 points and 7 assists in the period against the Trail Blazers on Friday night.
LeBron James did it all in the fourth quarter for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.
James scored or assisted 23 of the Lakers' 25 points in the period and took to Instagram to react to his heroics, which meant the Lakers came away with a 107-95 win.
The Lakers had just not been able to put away the Blazers for much of the night and things could have gotten quite tricky had LeBron not taken over.
He ended up with 7 points and 7 assists in the fourth quarter and for the night, had 35 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists, and 2 steals.
The only points that James did not directly account for came from Cam Reddish, who made a two-pointer to put the Lakers up 99-83 with just under seven minutes left.
LeBron had put the game beyond reach by then and with this win, the Lakers improved to 7-6 on the season and a league-best 3-0 in the In-Season Tournament.
While we marvel at the fact that the 38-year-old is still doing this in his 21st season, the rest of his team really needs to step up.
