Salma Hayek's Shimmery Green Gown Belongs on Your Holiday-Party Mood Board

Salma Hayek has been bringing happiness lately on the red carpet with her festive ensembles. She first gave formal work wear a fun spin at the World Monument Fund's 34th annual Hadrian Gala by dressing in a glittering gold suit. A week later,

Moreover, the actress is going all out with her holiday wardrobe as Thanksgiving approaches. She went to her brother Sami's Frequency art exhibition at Christies in Beverly Hills wearing a silver metallic pencil skirt and a blinged-out blouse.

Salma wore a stunning gown the colour of a Christmas tree at the Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday in Los Angeles. Hayek's dress, a custom creation from Bottega Veneta, had a twisted halter neckline with a bow and was encrusted with emerald-colored sequins.

A big cocktail ring on her index finger and a pair of diamond drop Boucheron earrings gave her festive ensemble even more glitz. Her ebony locks were styled with two eye-catching sections up front and flowing waves down the other.

A matte pink lip, a bronzy glow, and glittery green eyeshadow that complemented the colour of her outfit made up the rest of her glam look.  "I am very proud to share their mission and am eager to keep learning from these remarkable women," Hayek continued.

Salma received recognition at the event for her charity efforts to better the lives of underprivileged children worldwide with the Giving Tree Award. Hayek made a statement prior to the event saying, "I am so honoured to be receiving the Giving Tree Award from Baby2Baby."
