Sean ‘Diddy' Combs and singer Cassie settle lawsuit alleging rape 1 day after it was filed

The lawsuit that singer Cassie made against music producer Sean "Diddy" Combs, saying that he beat her and abused her, was settled on Friday, one day after the lawsuit was filed.

The settlement was announced in a statement sent by attorney Douglas Wigdor, who represents Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura.

However, the statement only said that they had made an agreement "to their mutual satisfaction" on Friday evening. It did not say what the agreement was for.

and no more comments would be made besides the ones Ventura, Combs, and Wigdor made in the email that the lawyer sent out.

Ventura said in her statement, "I have decided to settle this matter fairly, as long as I have some say in the details." I'd like to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for always being there for me.

"We have decided to settle this matter peacefully," Combs said. I hope everything goes well for Cassie and her family. Love.
