Vanessa Hudgens's Black Ball Gown Is Giving Gothic Wedding

Vanessa Hudgens will soon be walking down the aisle and acquiring her fiancé Cole Tucker's last name after marking the end of her singledom with a very fitting spooky-themed bachelorette party.

In the meantime, the actress and singer is taking a break from wedding planning for her newest appearance, proving that if anyone could pull off a black wedding gown, it would be the macabre-obsessed BBV.

Hudgens emerged on the white carpet for the 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on Monday, dressed in a full wedding outfit with a dark twist. Whether by coincidence or not, the soon-to-be bride opted for a black Vera Wang gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline, a thigh-high slit, and a voluminous skirt instead of the usual white ball gown.

The actress slicked her raven locks back into a neat bun and completed her look with a bronzy smoky eye, winged liner, and a glossy pink pout. Although we don't know much about the approaching wedding, we do know one thing: she intends to assume Tucker's surname.

"I'm probably going to take it," she told Today programme hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. Professionally, nothing changes. However, yes.

What inspired her "chic funeral attire" during her bachelorette trip? "I told my girlfriends to dress for my funeral," she stated. "Because I felt like it was death to my single self, death to Hudgens."
